Professional Team

Our tranquil, safe, and welcoming setting consists of a dedicated team of professionals committed to nurturing the whole of a resident - mind, body, and spirit.  We offer support with an aftercare plan to maintain the hard work and positive lifestyle  acquired in treatment.

Our founder is a Penn State Graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree, is a certified recovery coach through CCAR, Connecticut Community for Addiction and Recovery, has  trained in the Option Institute Son Rise program and has worked throughout her life helping children and adults with various ranges of disabilities both mental and physical. She has witnessed the devastating effects on her own family’s battle with addiction. She actively promotes and employs sober individuals in her community and business in South Florida. Her dream of setting up a supportive home environment for women of all ages has resulted in Cassie's Cottage.

Our director/partner brings to the house more than 30 years of sobriety, understands addiction and what it takes to be successful in recovery. She has 15 years experience as a manager in the Healthcare industry in addition to 10 years in the human resources field which is instrumental in helping our residents develop plans and solutions to re-enter the community and the workforce. Her compassion, insight into addiction, strength and wisdom promotes trust and mutual understanding as she is a respecter of people from all walks of life.
